Kidney Cancer

Diagnosis Process

Urine and blood tests: Functions and tumor markers are evaluated

Biopsy: May be necessary in suspected cases, but not always performed

Treatment Methods

Surgical Treatment

It is the most effective treatment for kidney cancer.
- Partial nephrectomy: Only the part with the tumor is removed (kidney-sparing surgery)
- Radical nephrectomy: Removal of the entire kidney and surrounding tissues
It can be performed with laparoscopic (closed) or robotic methods.

Ablative Methods (in selected patients)

- Radiofrequency or cryoablation: Especially in patients who are not suitable for surgery applicable
